- Renewals and new season ticket sales for the 2026-27 Iona University men's and women's basketball campaign will begin on August 25, 2026.
- Renewing season ticket accounts will automatically secure their same seats (including seat, section and row) that they had as of the end of the 2025-26 season, assuming all tickets were fully paid for.
- All returning season ticket holders from 2025-26 will be contacted via email when their 2026-27 ticket packages are available for review and to finalize their purchases.
- IMPORTANT: When creating your account on the new IonaTickets.com platform when logging on for the first time, you MUST use the same email address that you used with the previous ticketing provider in order to access your season ticket reservations.
- Ticket packages will be automatically reserved in season ticket holder's respective account and reservations can be paid for online at IonaTickets.com. Reservations are valid typically until October 1 before opening up to the general public.
- The opportunity to upgrade, relocate or add additional season tickets will be based on availability at the time of purchase. Please contact the Box Office for more information.

Important Iona Seat Premium (ISP) Information
- Chairback and Courtside season tickets are required to pay an Iona Seat Premium (ISP), regardless of the number of seats, in addition to the per-seat ticket price.
- New in 2026-27: ISP costs will now be based on the section in which the ticket is located and no longer based on the quantity of seats.
- There will ever only be ONE seat premium payment per account, regardless of the number of seats in that ticket holder's plan/package.
- If a season ticket holder owns a package that includes seats in both the courtside sections AND chairback sections, that account would only be applied the $2,500 courtside ISP.
- The Iona Seat Premium is a required contribution to Iona University Athletics that provides access to purchase season tickets in premium sections of the Hynes Center. All ISP funds go directly to support Iona's basketball programs.
- Per current tax law, ISPs are not tax-deductible; however, ISP payments DO count toward any individual's giving total to Iona University during that fiscal year.
- For example: any individual who pays a $1,500 ISP and also makes a $3,500 charitable donation to ANY Iona University fund, the $3,500 amount will be considered a tax-deductible charitable donation, but that individual will be credited for $5,000 in total giving to Iona University that fiscal year and will be stewarded as such.
- Iona Seat Premiums will automatically be included in returning season ticket holder's renewal reservation, as well as in any new season ticket holder's transaction when purchasing online.

What is an Iona Seat Premium and what does it support?
The Iona Seat Premium is a required amount of support to Iona University Athletics giving access to purchase basketball season tickets in certain sections of the Hynes Center. Seating in sections 4, 5, and 6 (all chairback sections) carry a priority seating premium. All funds generated through priority seating premiums go directly to support Iona teams.
Is the Iona Seat Premium tax deductible?
Per current tax law, contributions that give access to certain ticket levels are not tax deductible. For qualifying contributions to Iona Athletics greater than the amount of the Iona Seat Premium, the difference will be tax deductible. For example, if one gives $25,000 to support Iona’s teams and a $2,500 premium is required for their ticket purchase, $22,500 will be deductible.
Can I make my Iona Seat Premium payment online?
Yes, Iona Seat Premiums will automatically be included in returning season ticket holder's renewal reservation, as well as in any new season ticket holder's transaction when purchasing online.
Are payment plans available when finalizing my season ticket renewal or my new season ticket purchase?
Yes, but only for order amounts with a minimum total cost of $350 for two-part plans, or $1,500 for four-part plans.
- All payment plans require a 50% down-payment at the time of purchase.
- Depending on the payment plan, the remaining balance would be split over either two additional payments or four additional payments.
- The first installment would be due seven days after the purchase date, and the remaining one or three (depending on the plan) would be made every two weeks thereafter until the balance is paid off.
- Please note: all payment plans must be scheduled to be completed before the first game of the season. Depending on when you are purchasing your season tickets, the aforementioned payment plans may not be an available option.
