Ricky Kerins completed his first season, 2018-19, on the Iona men's basketball staff and serves as graduate manager. He served in the same role with the Iona women's program in 2017-18 after three years as an undergraduate manager with the men's program.
Kerins served on Billi Chambers staff and assisted with practice planning and execution, video coordination, game scouting and other administrative duties. He also oversaw the program's staff of undergraduate managers.
As an undergraduate, Kerins served the Iona men's basketball program as a manager during his freshman and sophomore campaigns and was head manager as a junior and senior. His duties included recording player stats, aiding in practice, gathering and organizing game film, and coordinating travel with the director of basketball operations. While working as the head manager, Kerins added on the responsibilities of assisting in equipment operations and distribution of team meals.
During his four years with the men's program, Kerins was a part of four MAAC tournament final appearances, two MAAC tournament championships, two MAAC regular season championship, two NCAA appearances, and two NIT appearances.
Kerins earned a bachelor's in business management from Iona in 2017 and is currently pursuing a MBA in management with a sports certificate in Iona's School of business.
