Mazzella Field
The home for Iona College soccer, lacrosse, rugby and general athletics training, exercise and additional institutional activities and events.
Mazzella Field first opened in 1989 and was recently resurfaced with new turf over the past couple of years. On the field there are designations for soccer and lacrosse with the capability to mark to play rugby as well. Capacity for Mazzella Field maxes at 2,400 people within the fence.
There is a press box and scoreboard located at Mazzella Field as well. All games played on Mazzella Field have the capability to be broadcasted on ESPN3, ESPN+ and/or WatchESPN.
In September of 2018, Iona College athletics honored 2006 alum and ALS advocate Pat Quinn with a dedicated corner at Mazzella Field. It acts as a reminder to all those who come to Iona of Quinn's courage in being a leader in the fight against ALS.
Mazzella Field was made possible through the extreme generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and JoAnn Murphy Mazzella.
