Rowing Tank
The Iona College rowing tank training facility is located on the ground floor of the Hynes Athletics Center. The rowing tank acts as a training tool to supplement on-the-water rowing. It is used to improve blade-work and timing. Rowing tanks were designed and constructed for off-season rowing, muscle-specific conditioning and technique training. The tank is especially useful during the winter months when rowing in the New Rochelle Marina is not an option.
