Poughkeepsie, NY- The Iona College volleyball team improved to 2-0 in MAAC play with a four-game win over Marist at the McCann Center. After dropping game one, the Gaels (4-8, 2-0 MAAC) responded by winning three straight games.
Sophomore OH Sarah Weiner recorded 20 kills for the second straight match, hitting a season-best .385 in the win. Junior RS
Kendall Paulus fell one dig shy of a double-double with 12 kills and nine digs. Rookie MH
Colleen Genett had 10 kills and matched teammate
Kristin Allain's team-high four blocks. Allain had a career-high nine aces to go along with eight kills in the victory.
