PRINCETON, NJ - The Iona College men's water polo team was defeated by Bucknell in the Gaels' final game of the Princeton Invitational. The Gaels cut a five-goal halftime deficit to three after the third quarter, but were unable to mount an offensive comeback in the fourth quarter against the Bison.
Senior
Joe Przekota led the Gaels with 2 goals, an assist and six ejections drawn. Junior
Seth Tasman had two goals, while sophomore
Cameron Hudson and freshman
Kristian Bocage each had a tally for Iona. Junior goalkeeper
Eric Konzem had seven saves.
The Gaels host Queens College on Sept. 23rd at 7:00 pm.
