Annapolis, MD - The Iona College men's water polo team secured a split at the Navy Open when they defeated Gannon 17-10. Iona was led on offense by senior Joe Przekota, who tied the single game record with ten goals.

Additionally, the Gaels were supported on offense by junior Seth Tasman, who had 3 goals and an assist. Sophomore Trevor Crieghton and senior Emre Erdogan each tallied their first goals of the season for Iona, while freshmen Cody Siemeck and Will Kolodgie each scored their first collegiate goals in the victory.

The Gaels travel to Princeton, NJ next weekend for the Princeton Invitational. On Friday, they take on Brown. Start time is scheduled for 8:40 pm.
