CAMBRIDGE, MA - For the second time in a week, the Iona College men's water polo team was on the short end of a one goal decision against George Washington. Last week, Iona fell 12-11. On Friday, the Gaels were topped by the Colonials 5-4 in each squad's first match of the ECAC Championships.
Senior
Seth Tasman had two goals for the Gaels as well as a steal and an ejection drawn. Sophomore
Joseph De Leone and freshman
Lee Stiles each had a goal for the Gaels. Freshman
Stefen Hill was tremendous in net, making 12 saves for Iona in defeat.
The Gaels will now take on Washington & Jefferson, who lost to Brown 15-6, Saturday at 2:20 pm.
