NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College volleyball team dropped
a three-set match to Niagara 25-15, 25-16, 25-12, in the squad's Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference opener at the Hynes Center.
Freshman Katie Marabella led with six kills while her
teammate Katrina Warren added five. Junior Theresa Harvey posted 12 digs and
sophomore Alicja Pawelec posted 11. Freshman Caris Myles and senior Nicole Tamburri split time at the setter position and combined for 20 assists on the
squad's 23 kills.
The Gaels look to rebound tomorrow at the Hynes Center when
