ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Iona College men's water polo team completed play at the 2012 Navy Open with a 14-12 loss to Bucknell Sunday morning.
After the two squads played to a 3-3 first quarter, and a 5-5 tie at half, Bucknell erupted for seven goals in the third to push ahead 12-9, a lead the team would not give up.
Iona returns to the water Sept. 15, when they compete at the CWPA North-South Challenge in Cambridge, MA.
