NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College volleyball team dropped a three set decision to Niagara, 25-21, 25-23, 25-21 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play at the Hynes Center.

Senior Catrina Warren had a 10-kill, 11-dig double-double and hit .375 to lead the Gaels. Senior Taylor Cembalisty added nine kills and six digs while red shirt freshman Kate Brodnax posted five kills and three digs while hitting .400. Setters Natalie Ziskin and Caris Myles split time and posted 17 and 12 assists respectively. Ziskin added nine digs while Myles recorded eight in the loss. Senior libero Katie Marabella posted a team-best 15 digs.

Niagara was led by 14 kills from Alex Stone. Amanda Sedore had 11 kills and Melissa McGwin added 10. Setter Alexis Gray had 34 assists and 10 digs while libero Rylee Hunt posted 19 digs.

The Gaels host Saint Peter's on Wednesday (Oct. 15) at the Hynes Center at 7:00 pm.
