NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College volleyball team celebrated senior day with a three-set win over Quinnipiac in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play at the Hynes Center. The Gaels honored seniors Taylor Cembalisty, Katie Marabella, Caris Myles, Shannon Ward and Catrina Warren prior to the 25-12, 25-17, 25-16 win.

Sophomore Karly White led the way with 10 kills and a .471 hitting percentage. She added three blocks in the win. Rookie Kassandra Darnaby also had 10 kills while hitting .409 for the match. Warren netted 12 points on eight kills and a season-best four aces. She posted 13 digs. Myles added 31 assists and four digs, Cembalisty posted four kills, two blocks and three aces, Ward had four kills and a block and Marabella recorded a team-best 16 digs.

The Bobcats were led by eight kills from Katie Urycki off the bench.

Iona completes its 2014 home schedule Wednesday (Nov. 12) at the Hynes Center at 7:00 pm when it hosts Rider.
