COACH THOUGHTS

Despite his squad's first-ever victory at LIU's pool, Iona head coach was disappointed at a lack of intensity in a "hard-fought win."

"I was really impressed with LIU how they battled us," Kelly said. "I knew we were going to get a great effort in their first-ever home game. At first, we did not match their intensity and our turnover tendencies made for a very sloppy offensive game for us. It was a hard-fought win."

UP NEXT

On Friday, Iona returns to Brooklyn to take on number-twenty-ranked Saint Francis College at 5 p.m.
