NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Two Iona Men's Water Polo Players have earned NWPC Honors following the conclusion of the 2022 season, Senior Goal Keeper Kyle Laufenberg was named to NWPC All-Tournament Second Team along with Sophomore Luksa Vlasic being named to the NWPC All-Conference Second Team. 

After a strong rookie year, being named the the 2021 NWPC All-Tournament Team Vlasic led the Gaels with 63 goals on 133 shots in 27 games played. The Florida native added 68 drawn exclusions, 13 steals and seven field blocks. Senior Laufenberg played in 23 games making 21 starts, both career highs for the Connecticut native. Over his 23 games he recorded 244 saves, 33 steals and earned seven wins of the season. Over the playoffs he led the Maroon & Gold to two wins over Conn College and MIT.
