Iona VB Continues Winning Ways vs Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Iona University volleyball team stormed to victory vs. Marist in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play on the road at McCann Arena. Unfazed after dropping the first set to Marist, the Gaels went on to win the match 3-1  with set scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-20, and 25-23. Standout performances from rookie Kari Smith, graduate Grace Ehler, and senior Kenzie Wiggins - who totaled 16.0, 10.0, and 10.0 points respectively, made the difference in a grueling back-and-forth contest. The Gaels have won their last two contests and now three straight vs. the Red Foxes.   It was the team's first win in Poughkeepsie since the 2020-21 season.
