THE RUNDOWN
The Veterans led the way to start, with four seniors grabbing at least one kill in the first. The Gaels hit .278 on the way to a 25-19 first set victory. From the Seniors to the Rookies, the Gaels were attacking well with Mija Jegers counting 5 kills in the second set. The Warriors would respond however, and the Maroon & Gold would drop the second, 22-25. The Gaels rallied in the third with a wire-to-wire set victory aided by an 8-1 run through the media timeout. Emma Vu set the tone with two of her services aces accounting for the Gaels first points in the set. Iona would go on to land two more for a total of four in the third set, and take the third set 25-17. Maroon & Gold domination continued into the fourth, with the Gaels' lead growing to as large as 11 points. Closing out the match with a balanced attack that saw three players tally at least a pair of kills, Iona took the fourth set 25-17. The Gaels took their tenth win of the season with a scoreline of 3-1.
- Jen Soto tallied seven kills, hitting .457 with one solo and three assisted blocks. The Phoenix, Arizona native finishes her last regular season with the Gaels totaling 882 kills and 296 blocks in 122 matches played.
- Emma Vu dished out 23 assists while counting five digs, landing one short of a season-high in service aces with three. The Senior leaves the Hynes Athletics Center for the last time with 766 Assists in 54 matches played.
- Fellow setter Jordan Ader counted 18 assists, a trio of digs, and two service aces. The Millsboro, Delaware native had her best statistical regular season in Maroon & Gold with 191 assists in 15 matches.
- Senior Kenzie Wiggins tallied seven kills and six digs, totaling 9.5 points with 2 aces and an assisted block. The outside hitter moves to her final postseason with 879 kills in 88 matches played.
- Grace Ehler finished with six kills, three digs, and two assisted blocks, totaling seven points. Her only regular season as a Gael saw her compete in all 30 matches with 236 kills and 77 blocks.
- Gia Skenderi counted her first and second kill as a Gael in her final outing at the Hynes Athletics Center.
- Makenna Casper tallied two assisted blocks and a kill in her last home game in Maroon & Gold.
- Micaela Ladjevic stuffed a Merrimack attack with an assisted block in her 12th appearance for Iona.
THE OPPONENT
- McKenna Shotwell led all players on court with 15 kills. She completed a double-double with 10 digs.
- Sophia Debonis was the second Warrior to take home a double-double with 12 assists and 10 digs.

The number eight seed Gaels will travel to Loudonville to face off against number five seed Sacred Heart. First serve from the 2024 MAAC Volleyball Championship first round game will be at 4:00 p.m.
