EDISON, NJ – A total of 75 student-athletes were placed on the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Water Polo All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today. Sadie Sallas was named to the All-MAAC First Team and fellow junior Lola Trujillo was named to the All-MAAC Second Team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
La Salle University placed a league-high 13 student-athletes to the All-Academic Team. Marist University was next with 12 selections, followed by both Siena and Villanova University with 11 honorees each. Mount St. Mary's University placed 10 student-athletes on the lineup, followed by Iona University with seven, VMI with six, and LIU with five to close out the academic team.
