EDISON, NJ - Iona senior Lola Trujillo (Fulshear, Texas/Foster High) was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week following a dominant two-game stretch for the Gaels.

The Texas native totaled four goals and two assists for six points on eight shots, showcasing her efficiency and offensive impact. Trujillo also contributed defensively with six steals and excelled in the sprint, going 6-for-7 on swim-offs to improve her career record to an impressive 254–21.

In Iona's first win of the season against Chapman, Trujillo recorded her first hat trick of the year, leading the Gaels' attack and helping secure the victory. Her all-around performance was instrumental to Iona's success and highlights her continued leadership as the Gaels move forward this season.
