GENERAL:
Will see action in both the infield and the outfield as a rookie in 2007... Served as a top shortstop in high school but with her all around athletic ability will make an effective transition to any position on the field... A left-handed slap hitter with both power and speed, will be a valuable addition to the 2007 squad.

BEFORE IONA:
Attended Old Bridge High School in New Jersey where she lettered in basketball, volleyball and softball... As a senior, led her team in runs, hits, triples, home runs, stolen bases, slugging percentage and batting average (.398)... Plays her summer ball as a shortstop for the 18UInferno Red, the 2005 NJ ASA State Champions.... "Kaitlin is a first-rate shortstop who knows the game really well," said head coach Andrea Farquhar. "Every time she's around the ball good things happen.
