GENERAL:
Returns for her second season with the Gaels at first base... A natural athlete that can plan anywhere in the infield.... Will look to provide power and consistency to the middle of the line-up...Will be the everyday first baseman looking for a breakout sophomore campaign... Born 3/23/1987... Majoring in English.

AS A FRESHMAN:
Started all 42 games in the infield in her rookie season with a batting avg. of .215 in 125 at bats... Had 12 RBI , 27 hits, and scored 15 runs for the Gaels... Also had five multi-hit efforts, a hitting streak of five games, two multiple RBI games and two doubles on the season... Laschen had three home runs in one game against Siena (5/6)... In the field she started 30 games playing a solid first base having only one error and a fielding percentage of .994.. Appeared in the other 12 games across the diamond at third base.

BEFORE IONA:
Batted .518 with a .592 on base percentage as a junior at Cactus Shadows High School... Named First Team All-Region for her performance... Member of her school's academic honor roll.
