Appeared in 23 matches and 43 games off the bench for the Gaels in 2008... Recorded 46 digs, seven kills and six aces... Was a serve specialist and played a role in the Gaels' formidable back-row defense... Had a career-high four kills at Canisius on Oct. 12... Recorded a season-best eight digs vs. Troy in the Tiger Invitational on Sep. 6... Named to both the MAAC All-Academic Team for Volleyball and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll for her performance in the classroom.
AS A FRESHMAN:
Appeared in 15 matches and 37 games while recording four kills, six assists, three aces and 50 digs... Recorded a season-high two kills vs. Fordham on Aug. 29... Had her first collegiate 10+ dig effort with 16 in win over La Salle at home on Sep. 5... Also recorded three aces vs. the Explorers... Followed up the effort with eight digs vs. Towson.
BEFORE IONA:
Joined the varsity volleyball team at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons high school as an eighth grader... Named to Honorable Mention team as a freshman, Second Team as a sophomore, and First Team and MVP runner-up as a junior... Earned league MVP Award as a senior... Was a three-year team captain and received many All-Team Tournament awards... Played for the North Country Albany Juniors Volleyball club for two years, a squad that placed second in its region and competed at Nationals... Accepted to be one of ten players to compete on the Adirondack State Team for the Empire State Games as a senior... Won ND-BG's Brother Murphy Award for Athletics and Academics.
