Biography


Completed his career in New Rochelle with 103 games of experience under his belt... One of two players (Milan Prodanovic) to appear in all 30 games in 2006-07 for the Gaels and made 14 starts... Finished second on the team with 14 double-digit point efforts... Had one game with 10 or more rebounds... Led the team in scoring in five games this season, third most on the squad... Averaged 8.5 points (third), 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game (ranked fourth in the MAAC) in 24.3 minutes of play... His 256 points were second most on the squad... Ended the season on a high note with seven contests with 10 or more points in the last nine games. ... An extremely athletic player, can electrify his teammates with outstanding leaping ability... One of the most versatile Gaels on the roster, can score inside and outside on the perimeter... Regarded as one of the top leapers and dunkers on the squad.

AS A SENIOR (2006-07):
Showed his muscle on the glass in game two for the Gaels vs. Sacred Heart on Nov. 15, grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds despite an 0-for-10 showing from the field... Had 10 points of 5-of-8 shooting at Rhode Island on Nov. 28... Had nine points and eight boards at Fordham in next contest... Set a new career-standard with 15 points with the assistance of an 8-for-10 shooting effort from the free throw line at Vermont on Dec. 10... Had 14 points and five boards vs. Niagara in the team's home opener on Dec. 19... Had back-to-back double-digit efforts on the Gaels Maryland trip including 11 points vs. the Terrapins and a career-best 18 points at Loyola... Netted 11 points and blocked three shots vs. Manhattan at the Hynes Center on Jan. 12... Exploded for 17 points, five rebounds and a career-best seven blocked shots in a heartbreaker at Siena on Feb. 1... The total tied the fourth highest single-game effort in school history... The Siena game started a career-best streak of four games with 10 or more points... Had 12 points and six boards in wins over Rider on Feb. 3 and Delaware on Feb. 17... Added 15 more vs. Siena on Feb. 9... Scored 10 points in loss to Marist on Feb. 11... Shot 9-of-14 from the line in a 13-point, seven rebound effort at Manhattan on Feb. 25

AS A JUNIOR (2005-06):
Appeared in all but two contests in a reserve role as a junior... Averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game... Fourth on the team with 10 blocked shots... Had five points in Iona's win over No. 23 Iowa State on the road on Nov. 26... Had six points and two assists in a win at Fordham on Dec. 1... Had six points in win at Marist including a game-winning three-pointer with the score tied and 40 seconds left on the clock on Dec. 11... Grabbed a season-high four rebounds against Kentucky on Dec. 23... Had four points and matched the season-high with four rebounds and two blocks vs. Fairfield on Jan. 17... Also netted four points in wins over Canisius and Buffalo at the Hynes Athletics Center on Feb. 3 and 18... Recorded a key lay-up down the stretch for the Gaels in a loss at Manhattan in the regular season finale on Feb. 26... Played 13 minutes over three games in the MAAC Tournament... Netted a huge 30-foot three pointer to beat the halftime buzzer in the MAAC Championship game vs. Saint Peter’s. The play was nominated for a Top Play on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Mar. 6... Played four minutes recording two steals and a rebound vs. No. 4 seeded LSU in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004-05):
Connected on his only shot attempt, a 3FG vs. Niagara in the MAAC Semifinal game... Scored five points, grabbed seven rebounds and had two blocked shots vs. Saint Peter's in the MAAC quarterfinals... Had seven points and five rebounds in the MAAC Quarterfinal round vs. Siena... Had four points, two rebounds, and a block in 23 minutes in the regular season finale vs. Siena... Tallied a career-best 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 2-of-5 from the perimeter, while also tallying three rebounds and two blocks against Fairfield... Had nine points, while also grabbing four rebounds and blocking two shots versus Marist... Came off the bench to score six points and pull down a career-best eight boards at St. Peter's... Tallied five points, six boards, and three blocks against Niagara... Scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds at Manhattan... Had five points and four boards versus Rhode Island... Tallied six points on two three-point field goals against Virginia Commonwealth... Grabbed three boards at George Mason... Contributed six points, two boards, a blocked shot and a steal against St. Bonaventure... Had eight points, three boards, an assist and a block at Creighton... Scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out three assists and blocked two shots versus Northern Arizona.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04):
Played with more confidence over the last four games in the regular season, averaging 4.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 13.0 minutes of play... Saw limited action early in the season... Had a breakout performance at Fairfield, scoring six points and grabbing six rebounds... Scored a season-high eight points to go along with five rebounds and a steal at Loyola... Had four points, three rebounds and a season-high three blocked shots at home against St. Peter's... Posted six points and six rebounds at Fairfield... Played three scoreless minutes at home versus Siena... Hit his only shot attempt and grabbed a rebounds in five minutes of action against Niagara... Tallied two points and a rebound against Canisius... Scored four points, grabbed a rebound and blocked a shot at St. Peter's... Did not score in four minutes of play at Siena... Grabbed a rebound and tallied an assist at top-ranked UConn... Scored two points and grabbed a rebound in six minutes of action at Rider... Blocked a shot at home versus Loyola... Made his collegiate debut at Virginia Commonwealth, grabbed two rebounds in four minutes of play.

BEFORE IONA (CHRIST THE KING HIGH SCHOOL):
Averaged 10.0 points and 8.0 rebounds for head coach Bob Oliva’s squad...Helped lead the Royals to a 26-8 record and both the CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens and New York State Championships...Lost to Lincoln in the finals of the NY State Federation Championship...Was a Second Team All-Queens and Third Team All-CHSAA selection...First Christ the King alum to play for the Gaels in at least 35 years.
