Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2019-20):
  • Appeared in 28 games making 23 starts averaging 33.4 minutes per game
  • Ranked 16th in the MAAC in scoring (11.4), 17th in rebounding (5.1), 5th in assists (4.0), 3rd in steals (1.7), 4th in assist/turnover ratio (1.8), 9th in defensive rebounding (4.2) and 8th in minutes per game (33.2)
  • Averaged 11.4 points, 4.0 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game
  • Shot 40.6% from the floor, 33.1% from beyond the arc and 80.3% from the free throw line
  • Finished with 48 steals on the season including a season-best four steals against Princeton (Dec. 17). Had two or more steals in seven of last nine games of the year
  • Recorded the third ever triple-double in Iona history on Feb. 27 at Canisius: had 14 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds
  • Scored double-figures in six of the last seven games
  • Season-best 25 points on 9-for-18 shooting against Monmouth (Jan. 26)
  • Made 10 free throws against Marist (Feb. 16)
AS A SOPHOMORE (MINNESOTA, 2018-19):
  • Averaged 4.3 points, 2.8 assists and 16.2 minutes per game
  • Had a 1.9 assist-turnover ratio after tw full seasons
  • On Dec. 11, 2018 against North Florida, he had 13 assists and zero turnovers, the second highest single-game assist total in Minnesota history. Also had his first career double-double with 14 points, three rebounds and one steal
  • Scored a season-best 15 points against Oklahoma State (Nov. 30)
AS A FRESHMAN (MINNESOTA, 2017-18):
  • Appeared in every game and made four starts
  • Averaged 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 rebounds per game
  • Scored a career-best 26 points against Michigan on Feb. 3, 2018 and had a career-high 13 rebounds in a win over Harvard on Dec. 30, 2017
BEFORE COLLEGE:
  • Was named Mr. New York Basketball for his career at St. Raymond's High School
  • Was number one rated point guard in the state of New York and a consensus top-100 prospect in the country
  • Averaged 17.5 points and 6.8 assists per game playing for the New Heights AAU Program in 2016

  • A co-founder of Jelly Fam, Washington is heavily followed on social media. The movement emphasizes the 'jelly,' a finger roll lay-up and has inspired youth basketball players across the metropolitan area.
