Played one season in Maroon & Gold before electing to pursue his academic and athletic career at another institution (Tallahasee CC)... Wing player that was one of the Gaels’ top options of the bench in his rookie campaign... Appeared in 28 games and made five starts and appeared at both the wing and power forward positions in Iona’s four-guard lineup... Earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors on two occasions (Dec. 28 & Jan. 25)... Averaged 3.9 ppg and was tied for 10th among MAAC rookies with 2.8 rebounds per game and 11 three-point field goals... AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10):
Made his Maroon & Gold debut vs. Norfolk State on Nov. 21 after missing the first two contests due to injury... Played 11 minutes and scored his first collegiate point from the foul line in the contest... Earned a start and hit two three-pointers and had six points in 23 minutes vs. Baylor on Nov. 27... Had a season-high and team-leading five rebounds vs. Siena on Dec. 7... Tallied seven points in 13 minutes against Albany at the Hynes Center on Dec. 17... Had his first collegiate double-digit point effort with 11 in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 23... Also recorded two blocks in the win... Netted 12 points with four rebounds against No. 11 Connecticut on Dec. 27... Named MAAC Rookie of the Week for his performance in the two games... Earned the start at Niagara on Jan. 2 and posted a career-best seven rebounds in the 63-60 win over the Purple Eagles... Matched his season-high with 12 points, all in the second half in the Gaels’ win at Loyola on Jan. 11... Had five points and six rebounds off the bench vs. Rider on Jan. 18... Netted a career-best with a team-leading 13 points and matched his season-high with seven rebounds in Iona’s win at Manhattan on Jan. 22... Had five points and four rebounds vs. Fairfield on Jan. 24... Earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors on Jan. 25.
