Biography

AS A SENIOR (2016-17):
  • Played in all 35 games with 27 starts.
  • Averaged 11.3 points, second most on the team, while playing 26.5 minutes per-game.
  • Added 3.7 rebounds and shot 45.0 percent from the field, including 42.4 percent from beyond the arc - fifth best in the MAAC.
  • Scored his 1,000th career point versus Niagara (Dec. 4) after scoring 911 points at Fordham.
  • GCI Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament Team.
  • Posted 16 points, six assists and five rebounds against Weber State (Nov. 25) at the Great Alaska Shootout.
  • Converted the game-winning layup with 0.5 seconds left in the Great Alaska Shootout championship game versus Nevada (Nov. 26).
  • Tallied 19 points in 37 minutes at Saint Peter's (Dec. 2) with four rebounds and three assists.
  • Recorded 21 points versus NJIT (Dec. 14) on 7-for-13 shooting.
  • Notched 20 points against Towson (Dec. 22).
  • Finished with 18 points, four rebounds and two steals at Manhattan (Jan. 17).
  • Posted 16 points and six rebounds against Fairfield (Jan. 20) in 32 minutes.
  • Logged 35 minutes versus Quinnipiac (Jan. 23) towards 17 points and four assists, shooting 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
  • Shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc at Niagara (Feb. 12) to aid a 23-point effort while adding six rebounds and two steals.
BEFORE IONA:
  • Earned his degree in three years from Fordham University and elected to transfer to Iona for his final season of eligibility as a graduate student.
  • Enters this season with 911 career points and 123 three-point field goals.
  • Looks to crack the Gaels starting lineup in preseason camp.
  • Scoring guard.
AS A JUNIOR AT FORDHAM (2015-16):
  • Appeared in 20 games with 16 starts, ranked sixth on the team with 7.6 ppg along with 1.6 rpg, 1.6 apg (fourth on the team) and 1.0 spg (fourth).
  • Posted 11 games with 10 or more points and one with 20 or more.
  • Netted a season-high 26 points, shooting 10-for-15 from the field, and added three rebounds, three assists and two steals in win over LIU Brooklyn (Dec. 8).
AS A SOPHOMORE AT FORDHAM (2014-15):
  • Appeared in 22 games with one start, averaged 6.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.5 apg and 0.9 spg.
  • Converted 30-of-37 free throw attempts (81.1%).
  • Named Atlantic 10 All-Academic for his performance in the classroom.
  • Scored a season-high 17 points, shooting 7-for-11 from the field and 3-for-3 from behind the arc vs. Rhode Island (Jan. 28).
  • Matched the 17 points in the next game at Dayton (Feb. 1), shooting 8-for-14 from the field.
  • Posted seven games with 10 or more points.
AS A FRESHMAN AT FORDHAM (2013-14):
  • Had one of the most prolific rookie campaigns in Fordham history, setting freshman scoring record with 536 points.
  • Named Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Rookie of the Year and Atlantic 10 All-Rookie.
  • Appeared in all 31 games with 23 starts.
  • Finished second on the team, fourth in the Atlantic 10 and fifth among NCAA Division I freshmen with 17.3 ppg.
  • Also averaged 2.8 rpg, 2.0 apg (second on the team) and 0.9 spg.
  • Finished third in the A-10 with with 79 three-pointers made.
  • Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week four times (Nov. 11, Dec. 2, Dec. 23, Dec. 30).
  • Had 25 games (of 31) with 10 or more points, 11 with 20 or more and three 30+ point efforts.
  • Scored a season-high 35 points, tying a Fordham rookie record at Duquesne, hitting seven three-pointers.
  • Also scored 32 points at Monmouth (Dec. 21) and 30 points at Manhattan (Nov. 26).
  • Had five or more three pointers on five occasions including career-best eight in Monmouth game.
  • Opened collegiate career with 28 points against Saint Francis (Pa.) on Nov. 8.
  • Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
BEFORE FORDHAM (CHRIST THE KING HIGH SCHOOL)
  • Graduated from Christ the King High School in Queens, NY.
  • Named a 2013 Parade All-American and New York’s Mr. Basketball, the state’s highest honor.
  • Was also the NY Daily News and NY Post Player of the Year.
  • Led the Royals to the CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens regular season and postseason titles, the CHSAA Class AA intersectional championship and New York State Federation Class AA championship as a senior.
  • Named All-State and the 2012-2013 MSG Varsity All-Metro Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
  • Set a Class AA State Federation two-game scoring mark with 68 points in a pair of wins in Albany, including 40 points in a 68-55 victory over Bishop Kearney in the semifinals, earning MVP honors of the tournament.
  • Appeared in the Jordan Brand Classic at Barclays Center on Apr. 18, netting 16 points and dishing out five assists to lead the White Team, made up of New York City stars, to a comeback win over the Black Team.
  • Scored over 1,100 points in his Christ the King career, averaging 21.6 ppg as a senior, shooting 40 percent from three-point range.
