Biography

Tessa Martin is in her fourth season as a member of the Iona College sports medicine staff.  Martin is the lead athletic training contact for Iona's volleyball and baseball teams.

In her role, Martin provides athletic training support and injury assessments for all Iona athletes. She communicates daily with staff, physicians, and coaches on the health of players while helping them through rehab and other therapeutic techniques. Martin also mentors undergraduate students interested in the field of athletic training.

Martin earned a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from North Dakota State University and earned a Master's in Post-Professional Athletic Training Education from the University of Oregon.
