AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08):
Appeared in 25 games making seven starts... Averaged 5.0 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15.2 minutes of play... Had a career-high 16 points in his second game in Maroon & Gold, against then No. 1 North Carolina at the Smith Center... Missed first game at Robert Morris on Nov. 10 due to injury... Drained his first collegiate shot attempt and had two points at Princeton on Nov. 14... Had a season-high 16 points in loss to No. 1 North Carolina on Nov. 18... Made his first collegiate start at Old Dominion on Nov. 20 grabbing a season-high five rebounds... Scored 10 points vs. SC State in Las Vegas on Nov. 23.. Followed it up with a nine-point effort vs. Jackson State the next day... Matched a season-high with five rebounds vs. Loyola on Dec. 7... Had five points on 2-of-5 shooting while matching a season-high with two assists vs. No. 15 Vanderbilt on Dec. 31... Recorded nine points and grabbed four rebounds while draining two three pointers in the win over Saint Peter’s on Jan. 13... Netted eight points on 3-of-4 shooting including matching his season-high with two three point field goals vs. Fairfield on Jan. 18... Had eight points vs. Siena at home on Jan. 27... Held scoreless for the first time in Maroon & Gold in eight minutes vs. Canisius on Feb. 8... Recorded five points and grabbed four rebounds in a start vs. Niagara on Feb. 16... Tallied six of Iona’s first eight points at Canisius on Feb. 18... Had six points and a season-high three assists in his third straight start vs. Hofstra on Feb. 23

BEFORE IONA (AMERICAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL/WINGS ACADEMY):
Attended American Christian School in 2006-07 - in the Philadelphia suburb of Aston, PA - after a standout career at Wings Academy in the Bronx... Served as a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Wings... As a senior, posted 16.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in leading his squad to an incredible 31-1 overall record, a second straight Bronx Borough Championship and a semifinal round appearance in the PSAL Championships... As a junior, averaged 15.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as the Wings posted a 23-6 record.... His squad made it to the quarterfinal round of the PSAL Championship and defeated eventual champ Kennedy for the Bronx Championship in 2004-05... Named New York Post PSAL Honorable Mention and New York Newsday Second Team All-Bronx... Ranked No. 20 on InsideHoops.com’s 2006 New York City Basketball Player Rankings; a list that included teammates Alejo Rodriguez (No. 15), Kashif Pratt (No. 22) and Milan Prodanovic (No. 25).
