Parker Weiss enters his fourth season with the Iona University men's basketball program and his second as video coordinator in 2026-27 after helping the Gaels to an 18-win campaign during the 2025-26 season.
After spending his first two seasons on staff as a graduate manager, Weiss was elevated to video coordinator prior to the 2025-26 campaign. In his current role, he oversees the program's video operations, including the management of game and practice film, opponent scouting materials, analytics integration, and technology systems that support player development and game preparation.
Throughout his time on staff, Weiss has played an important role behind the scenes in supporting all aspects of the program's daily operations. His responsibilities have included film editing, scouting preparation, practice planning support, travel logistics, player scheduling, team technology management, and coordination of operational needs for both coaches and student-athletes.
Weiss joined the coaching staff following a four-year playing career with the Gaels. A recruited walk-on in Tim Cluess' program in 2019, he earned a scholarship and served as team captain during his senior season under Rick Pitino.
Over four seasons, Weiss appeared in 64 games and made one start. He scored 39 career points, including 31 during his senior campaign, while earning the respect of teammates and coaches through his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the program.
A graduate of Iona's LaPenta School of Business, Weiss earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration following the winter 2022-23 trimester. He later pursued graduate studies at Iona while beginning his coaching and administrative career with the men's basketball program.
