Parker Weiss enters his fourth season with the Iona University men's basketball program and his first as coordinator of content and operations in 2026-27 after helping the Gaels to an 18-win campaign during the 2025-26 season. He previously served as the program's video coordinator during the 2025-26 season after spending his first two years on staff as a graduate manager.
In his role as coordinator of content and operations, Weiss supports the program's video, content, and day-to-day operational needs. His responsibilities include film editing, game and practice video management, opponent scouting preparation, analytics integration, practice planning support, team technology management, travel logistics, player scheduling, and coordination of operational needs for coaches and student-athletes.
Throughout his time on staff, Weiss has played an important role behind the scenes in supporting the coaching staff and student-athletes while helping facilitate player development, game preparation, and the daily operations of the program.
Weiss joined the coaching staff following a four-year playing career with the Gaels. A recruited walk-on in Tim Cluess' program in 2019, he earned a scholarship and served as team captain during his senior season under Rick Pitino.
Over four seasons, Weiss appeared in 64 games and made one start. He scored 39 career points, including 31 during his senior campaign, while earning the respect of teammates and coaches through his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the program.
A graduate of Iona's LaPenta School of Business, Weiss earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration following the winter 2022-23 trimester. He later pursued graduate studies at Iona while beginning his coaching and administrative career with the men's basketball program.
