YEAR IN RESIDENCE (2007-08):Sat out the 2007-08 season due to NCAA transfer regulations... Played with teammate Kashif Pratt on the Hudson Valley Empire State Games team in the summer of 2008.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07 - U. OF LOUISVILLE):Saw action in 14 games along with one start as a sophomore at Louisville... Averaged 1.1 points and 0.7 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game... Converted 2-of-3 three point attempts on the season... Scored a season-high seven points and grabbed three rebounds against Northwestern State... Made his first career start vs. Dayton and played six minutes in the game.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06 - U. OF LOUISVILLE):Scored a season-high eight points against Fairleigh Dickinson in just three minutes on the court... Scored his first collegiate basket against Prairie View... Had two points and three rebounds in extensive action in the Cards’ Nov. 20 exhibition game against Southern Indiana.
BEFORE IONA (CENTRAL PARK CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL):Averaged 17.1 points and 10.2 rebounds as a senior at Central Park Christian High School... Rated 38th among power forwards by RivalsHoops, and was listed among the top 300 seniors nationally by The Hoop Scoop... Also ranked 12th nationally among center prospects by Scout.com after his senior season... A broken foot kept him sidelined for much of his junior year at Central Park Christian, but size and outside shooting prowess did not go unnoticed by the coaching staff at Louisville that included Iona head coach Kevin Willard.
