Biography
- Signed early with Iona men’s basketball in Fall 2023.
- Played his final two years at St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, CT.
- Earned All-NEPSAC Class-AAA Honorable Mention honors as junior and senior in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
- Selected as a Connecticut All-Star for the 2023 JCC Schoolboy Classic.
- Named HoopsFest Player of the Game for a standout 22-point, 10-rebound, four-assist performance against Hotchkiss in December.
- Helped lead St. Thomas More to a Founders Tournament Championship in January 2023.
- Transferred to St. Thomas More after reclassifying from the 2023 to the 2024 class.
- Competed previously at Loomis Chaffee School at the NEPSAC Class-A level, where he caught the attention of Iona head coach Tobin Anderson.
- Began high school career at Xavier High School in Middletown, Connecticut, where he was named team MVP, Conference Player of the Year, and earned All-State honors as a sophomore.
- Commended for his basketball IQ, work ethic, and ability to score from all three levels as a 6-3 point guard.
- Joins a tradition of Iona men's basketball players from St. Thomas More, including Anthony Bruin, Tre Bowman, E.J. Crawford, and A.J. English.
- Son of Kristin and Anthony Menard. Brother Josh played basketball at Saint Anselm, sister Katie plays soccer and runs track for Iona and sister Megan plays soccer at Holy Cross
