Biography
Appeared in one season in Maroon & Gold after sitting out his freshman campaign of 2008-09 when he suffering an Achilles’ injury in August '08... Appeared in 26 games including one start... Was a high-energy performer off the bench with a knack for scoring a key bucket or grabbing a key rebound in his limited playing time... Recorded one double-digit point effort with 10 points in seven minutes in a win over Norfolk State on Nov. 21... A junk yard dog type player that is extremely tough and plays hard on every possession... Elected to pursue his academic and athletic career at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.
AS A RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN (2009-10):
Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for his performance in the classroom... Recorded five rebounds in seven minutes in his Maroon & Gold debut vs. BU on Nov. 13... Netted his first collegiate points at Hampton on Nov. 17... Exploded for 10 points and four rebounds in just seven minutes of play including eight straight points in a 2:30 span vs. Norfolk State on Nov. 21... Scored all six of his points in seven minutes in the second half vs. Florida State on Nov. 26... Appeared in a season-high 12 minutes with four points vs. Albany on Dec. 17... Posted seven points and grabbed three rebounds in just four minutes of play vs. Niagara on Jan. 16... Had four points in five minutes in win over Marist on Jan. 28... Had six points and a season-high six rebounds in the second half vs. Manhattan on Feb. 12... Grabbed four rebounds in nine minutes vs. Saint Peter’s in the regular season finale on Feb. 28... Posted four points, hitting his lone field goal attempt and both free throws vs. Niagara on Mar. 6

Sat out the entire season with an injury suffered in the pre-Canadian trip practice sessions.
BEFORE IONA (HACKENSACK HIGH SCHOOL):
As a senior at Hackensack, he led his squad to the Bergen Jamboree final against teammate Kyle Smyth’s Don Bosco squad... Averaged 22 points and 14.1 rebounds and finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,603 career points... Named First Team All-North Jersey by the Bergen Record and Third Team All-State by the Associated Press... As a junior, averaged 25.3 and 14.5 rebounds while shooting 57 percent from the field... The point total was third most in North Jersey and the highest among returning players for his senior year... Helped lead the Comets to a 16-8 mark and final NJHoops.com ranking of 36th in the state... Ranked among the Top 15 seniors in New Jersey by several recruiting web sites.
