Biography

Finished his two-year career with the Gaels after transferring from Wicomico CC after his sophomore season... Played 35 games, scored 269 points, grabbed 117 rebounds, dished out 137 assists and had 40 steals during his tenure in New Rochelle.

AS A SENIOR (2007-08):
Appeared in all 32 games and made 23 starts including the last three... Has appeared at all three guard positions for the Gaels... Averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and a team-best 3.9 assists per game... Was second on the team with 42 three pointers made... Athletic, point guard that has tremendous court vision... Improved his assist-to-turnover ratio with experience throughout the season... Had a career-high 18 points at Rider on Jan. 21 and matched his career-high with six assists vs. Manhattan in the Regular season finale on Mar. 3... Had 11 games with 10 or more points... Scored seven points and had six rebounds in season opener vs. Robert Morris in first appearance in nearly a year on Nov. 10... Had eight points vs. Princeton on Nov. 14...  Dished out a game-high five assists at No. 1 North Carolina and at Old Dominion on Nov. 18 and Nov. 20... Also tallied 10 points at ODU... Had 11 points vs. South Carolina State in Las Vegas on Nov. 23... Had eight points including a huge three-pointer that gave the Gaels the lead for good with 50 seconds remaining vs. Delaware on Nov. 30... Also led the team with five assists in the win... Scored six points and led the Gaels with five assists vs. Loyola on Dec. 7... Had his second back-to-back double-digit effort of the season with 10 points at Siena and 11 points at UNH on Dec. 9 and Dec. 15... Matched his career-high with three three pointers at UNH... Set a career-high with 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting including both three-point attempts at Saint Francis on Dec. 19... Recorded a 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio at Saint Francis (Dec. 19) and vs. Western Michigan (Dec. 22)... Had 13 points (and three 3-pt FGs) at Vanderbilt on Dec. 31... Recorded eight points including a clutch three from the wing to cut Niagara’s lead to three points with 19.2 seconds left on Jan. 3... Held scoreless for the first time in Maroon & Gold at Loyola on Jan. 6... Led the Gaels in scoring for the first time with 13 points adding five assists and for rebounds vs. Rider on Jan. 11... Had 12 points, five assists and four rebounds in leading the Gaels to a win over Saint Peter’s on Jan. 13... Dished out a season-best six assists with no turnovers in the win over Fairfield on Jan. 18... Netted a career-high 18 points and four three point field goals at Rider on Jan. 21... Tallied nine points, five rebounds and four assists with zero turnovers vs. Marist on Jan. 24... Recorded eight points, five assists and five rebounds vs. Siena on Jan. 27... Had seven points and dished out four assists vs. Manhattan at MSG on Jan. 30.. Matched a season-high with six assists to go along with zero turnovers vs. Canisius on Feb. 8... Led the Gaels with four assists at Fairfield on Feb. 10... Recorded nine points at Niagara on Feb. 16... Netted 12 points with four rebounds, three assists and four steals in win at Canisius on Feb. 18.   Had three 3-pointers for the sixth time this season... Had six points and a team best five assists with no turnovers vs. Hofstra on Feb. 23... Had seven points and a team best four assists at Marist on Feb. 29... Matched his season-high with six assists in Senior Day win vs. Manhattan on Mar. 2... Recorded 10 points and five assists in a loss to Canisius in the MAAC Championship opening round.

AS A JUNIOR (2006-07):
Started Iona’s first three games averaged 7.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists... Recorded his lone double-digit effort in his Iona debut with 10 points and four rebounds vs. Winthrop on Nov. 14 at the NIT Season Tipoff in Charlotte, NC... Had four points, five rebounds and four assists in loss to Sacred Heart on Nov. 15... Had seven points, five rebounds and an Iona season-high nine assists vs. Buffalo on Nov. 21... Suffered a broken foot in practice prior to the team’s departure for Rhode Island on Nov. 27.

BEFORE IONA (CECIL COMMUNITY COLLEGE):
Averaged 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game for Cecil Community College in 2005-06, connecting on 38% of his three point attempts and 76% from the free throw line... Instrumental in Cecil’s NJCAA Division II National Championship run, leading the team to a phenomenal 33-2 record while being named All-Tournament during the run... Chose Iona over East Carolina and Drexel. Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Maryland also showed interest in the guard during his recruiting process.... Red shirted the 2004-05 season... Recorded a triple double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 134-95 victory vs. Dundalk as a freshman in 2003-04... Led the team to a 28-4 record and Maryland State Tournament Championship and was selected as the team’s top defensive player award.

BEFORE IONA (WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL):
Selected for First Team All-Conference as a junior and senior... Averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists as a senior, leading his team to a 20-3 record and an appearance in the Region Championship game for the third straight season.. Guided his team to a perfect 28-0 season and 2A State Championship as a junior in 2002.
