Had 12 double-digit point efforts - the third most on the team - including 10 in his last 16 appearances... Led the team in scoring on three occasions... Ranked third on the team with 20 starts including the last 14 games of the season... Slashing guard that is also one of the Gaels top deep threats... AS A FRESHMAN (2006-07):
Season got off to an inauspicious start, missing the Preseason NIT trip due to injury... Had his first double-digit effort with 10 points at Rider on Dec. 7, the fifth Iona player in 2006-07 to record 10 or more points in their first Iona start... Made it back-to-back double-digit efforts at Vermont on Dec. 10... Returned to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in three straight games and had 16 points at Marist on Jan. 9... Missed the next contest vs. Manhattan with a bruised knee on Jan. 12... Had 10 or more points in five straight games and eight of nine from Jan. 9 - Feb. 3... Had 10 points vs. Fairfield including a game-tying running jumper with less than five seconds remaining to force overtime on Jan. 14... Averaged 15.0 ppg on Buffalo trip with 13 points at Canisius and 17 at Niagara on Jan. 18 and 20... Had six assists vs. the Golden Griffins and added season-highs in assists and rebounds on the trip with seven helpers and seven boards vs. the Purple Eagles... Added 10 points, five rebounds and three assists at Fairfield on Jan. 23... Had a season-best 19 points with five boards vs. Canisius on Jan. 29... Tied a freshman record with five three-point field goals vs. the Griffs... Netted 13 points and put the Gaels ahead by a point with 25 seconds remaining at Siena on Feb. 1... Ended the scoring stretch with 11 points in win over Rider on Feb. 3... Had 13 points in win in ESPNU Bracketbusters match-up at Delaware on Feb. 17... Had a team-best 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and 8-of-11 shooting from the free throw line.
BEFORE IONA (MARION-FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL):
First Team All-District averaging 16.1 points, seven rebounds and five assists as a senior at Marion-Franklin... Earned 2006 McDonald's All-American Nomination... Led the team to a 14-7 overall record and 10-4 in the Columbus (Oh.) City League-South Division... Led the Red Devils to the City Championship for the first time since 1993 and first under head coach Orlando McCoy... As a junior, averaged 20.8 points and made Second Team All-District, First Team All City and was Honorable Mention Columbus Super 12... Averaged 11.3 points and was All-City Second Team as a sophomore... Helped to transform the Marion-Franklin program by leading the team to a 53-32 over his four years... Also considered Eastern Illinois and Jackson State before choosing Iona.
