AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10):
Ranked ninth among MAAC rookies in scoring (4.9 ppg), third in field goal percentage (44.1%, min. 100 FGA), fourth in free throw percentage (63.8%, min 50 FTA) and fourth in blocked shots (11)... Tallied three points and a rebound in 12 minutes vs. BU on Nov. 13... Netted seven points and grabbed three rebounds in eight minutes at Hampton on Nov. 17... Was named MAAC Rookie of the Week after netting 13 points and grabbing five rebounds in win over Norfolk State on Nov. 21... Tallied six points, all in the first half vs. Florida State on Nov. 26... Led Iona with 13 points and seven boards vs. Baylor on Nov. 17... Posted 10 points in a win over Creighton on Nov. 29... Posted a season-high 16 points and grabbed seven boards while shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 6-for-6 from the line vs. Long Island on Dec. 9... Had six rebounds in 16 minutes of play vs. Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 23... Had four points and four boards in 15 minutes off the bench at Niagara on Jan. 2.. Missed his first collegiate game at Canisius due to a stomach virus... Returned to the starting lineup to score 10 points and grab three boards in a win at Rider on Jan. 9... Recorded 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting with two assists and two blocks in a win over Canisius at home on Feb. 1... Had five rebounds in win over Loyola at home on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).

BEFORE IONA (TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL):
Two-time Mountain Valley Conference standout... Led Dave Bellani's Technology squad to an 18-6 record and an appearance in the NJSIAA/ShopRite North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 championship game during his senior campaign... Averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and two blocks per game and was First Team All-New Jersey Group 1, Second-Team All-Essex County as well as All-City of Newark in 2008-09... In the summer of 2008, named the "Best Power Forward" on one of the Hoop Group Elite Camp's "Super Seven" Lists in addition to being named a camp All-Star...  During his junior year at Technology HS, posted 20.6 points and 11 rebounds per game... Led his team to a 16-8 record before falling in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Sectional Tournament... Named to the Newark Star-Ledger's First Team All-Junior Class, Second Team All-Newark, and All-Windex squads...  His 33 point, 10 rebound and five assist outburst in a 72-40 victory over Roselle Park was named one of the tabloid's "Top Performances" of the 2007-08 season.
