Iona University Athletics

Brian Hansbury enters his seventh season as assistant swim coach for both the men’s and women’s programs. 

Prior to Iona, Hansbury spent two seasons as head coach of the Iona Prep swim team and one season as head coach of the women’s varsity swimming and diving team at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, NY.  While at Iona Prep, Hansbury led the Gaels to a Division II Title and was named Catholic High School Coach of the Year for the 2002 season. 

Hansbury swam for the University of Florida, and still holds numerous school records at White Plains High School.
