Iona University Athletics

This season marks the seventh season for Robert Parrinelli as diving coach for both the men's and women's programs here at Iona College.

Prior to joining the Gaels, Parinelli coached at the collegiate and age-group levels for 21 years. His extensive knowledge of the sport stems from his eight years as a competitive swimmer, and fifteen years in competitive diving.

Parinelli attended the University of South Carolina before transferring to Iona in 1985. As a Gael, he placed first and second respectively in the one and three meter events at both the MAAC and ECAC Championships. 

He is the current holder of the Iona team record for one and three meter championship events.
