GENERAL:
Slap hitting lefty will look to spark the offense as the Gaels' leadoff or No. 2 hitter in 2007... Will likely shift back to center field defensively after having a great season in right, committing only three errors and starting all 42 games in 2006... Quick, strong athlete with a rare combination of power and speed that will keep defenses on their toes when she's at the plate... Second on Iona's career stolen base list (17)... Born 3/11/1985... Majoring in Criminal Justice.

AS A JUNIOR:
Started in all 42 games in right field for the Gaels hitting .279 in 129 at bats... Finished the season with a total of 35 hits and scored 27 runs and nine RBI for the Maroon & Gold... Had a total of nine multi-hit efforts and added two doubles and a home run... Posted a fielding percentage of .935 and only three errors.... Was also one of 10 Iona players named to the MAAC All-Academic squad.

AS A SOPHOMORE:
Appeared in and started 44 games as a sophomore in centerfield, the most of any 2006 returner... Finished second on the team in batting average (.288), hits (42) and runs scored (24)... Recorded 42 hits in 146 at bats including four doubles, the team's only triple and a home run... The hit total is tied for ninth in a single season at Iona... Tied for the team lead with seven stolen bases... Second on the team with 12 multi-hit efforts...  Hit her first collegiate home run vs. Rider on 4/17..Named to the All-MAAC Tournament Team.

AS A FRESHMAN:
Earned Second Team All-MAAC honors in the outfield... Won MAAC Rookie of the Week honors for the week of May 3rd-9th... Made 37 starts for the Gaels... Batted .315, good for fourth best on the team... Led the team in stolen bases (7) and attempts (9)... Scored 16 runs to go along with 35 hits.

BEFORE IONA:
Played two years with the Maryland Heartbreakers ASA organization... Helped lead her squad to a ninth place finish at the ASA "A" Nationals in Illinois.
