Bairre Reilly

Iona College lacrosse head coach Michelle Mason announced Bairre Reilly as the new assistant coach of the Maroon & Gold program in September of 2018.

Reilly graduated from the University of Maryland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and criminal justice. As a student-athlete, Reilly was a one-time Division I Atlantic Coast Conference Champion, two-time Big-Ten Champion, and three time NCAA Champion. She also received the Women's Lacrosse Big Ten Sportsmanship award as a senior.

After graduation, Reilly served as both a sports coach and physical therapy aid. Following those stints, the Locust Valley, NY native served as a private Lacrosse Instructor where she mentored student-athletes ages 8-20 both one-on-one and in groups of two to 12 players. Reilly comes to Iona after a brief stint as an Inside Sales Representative for the New York Mets.

Mason on Reilly: "We are beyond excited to have Bairre join our IWL family! She is driven, passionate, and embodies the core values of our program. Bairre knows what it takes to be successful as a student-athlete at the highest level. Her offensive creativity and desire to learn will make an immediate impact on our team. She has a championship mindset and will help instill that culture within our program as we work towards a MAAC Championship."
