Iona University Athletics

Emily Gill joined the Iona College lacrosse program in August, 2009.  In her role as Assistant Coach, Gill will focus primarily on the team's defense.

Gill is a 2007 graduate of Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, PA, where she was part of a Division III program that won an ECAC Championship in 2005 and Centennial Conference and National titles in 2007.  She served as co-captain in 2007 and was named Franklin & Marshall's MVP and Most Valuable Defender as well as a First Team All-American, DIII Defensive Player of the Year by womenslacrosse.com, and a First Team defender on the IWLCA DIII All-Regional and All-Centennial Conference Teams.

Gill played high school lacrosse at Yorktown High School in Yorktown Heights, NY.
