Keely Connors

Keely Connors joined the Iona College lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2020 season. Her first season with the Gaels was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Prior to joining the Maroon& Gold, Connors played four years for Holy Cross, starting every game for the Crusaders her junior and senior seasons. Her junior year she was All-Patriot First Team with 39 points and 37 goals and was named Athletic Department’s Breakthrough Female Athlete of the Year. She was also a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Her senior year she scored 31 points and 26 goals as the captain and made the All-Patriot Second Team.  
 
Before her college career she was an outstanding high school player. Connors was a 2015 US Lacrosse first team All-American and a two-year captain for Fox Lane High School. Fox Lane was league, section, regional champions, and New York semifinalists in 2012. They repeated as league champions in 2013 as well. Connors was all-league and all-section honorable mention in 2013 and all-league and all-section her senior season in 2014.
