Iona College lacrosse head coach Michelle Mason announced Lindsey Luposello as the new assistant coach of the program in December of 2018.
After graduating from Southern Connecticut State University, Luposello served as the Purchase College Women’s Assistant Lacrosse and Soccer coach for one season. She was an integral part of the coaching staff by assisting with the creation and implementation of practice plans and team regulations as well as handling recruitment assignments.
While a student-athlete, Luposello served as a junior and senior captain of the lacrosse team. During her senior season, the defender tallied a career-best 38 ground balls to go along with 15 caused turnovers.
In the classroom, Luposello, an Exercise Science major, was a two-time Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection, as well as named to the the IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll in her junior season. She was named to the Dean’s list three times and graduated Cum Laude. She also served three years on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as the Head of Public Relations.
