Kelley Mason enters her third season as an assistant coach with the Iona women's rowing program in 2026-27.
Mason works primarily with the second varsity eight, varsity four, and novice boats while also serving as the program's lead recruiter for the women's team. During her time on staff, she has helped guide the continued growth of the program and played a key role in returning Iona to the MAAC Championship regatta in the spring of 2025. In the fall of 2025, Mason helped coach the varsity eight to a bronze-medal finish at the Mohawk Fall Classic Regatta.
Prior to joining the Iona coaching staff, Mason competed as a coxswain at Stockton University from 2020-24. During her collegiate career, she raced in 31 events and was a member of the varsity four that captured a gold medal at the 2022 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
Mason also helped Stockton earn medals at the Dad Vail Regatta in 2021 and 2023 and at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships in 2023 and 2024. During the 2023-24 season, she was part of the second varsity eight that earned MARC Crew of the Week honors.
A standout in the classroom, Mason earned MARC All-Academic Team honors in three consecutive seasons from 2022-24 and received CRCA Scholar-Athlete recognition in 2023 and 2024.
