Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2015):
  • Appeared in two games net.
  • Recorded six saves with zero goals against.
BEFORE IONA:
  • Player of the Year for Western Springs AFC.
  • Played for New Zealand's U17 and U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup teams, and the New Zealand U18 Development team.
  • Finalist for the Counties Manukau Sports Association's Young Sportswomen of the Year in 2014.
  • In 2013, she participated in a tour of Australia with the U17 squad and competed in a three game series.
  • Named Sportsman of the Year, First XI captain and MVP, and earned Tournament MVP honors at the Kathy Seaward Tournament. Roper competed for Fencibles United - Auckland's Premier Team - and was the winner of the Club Achievement Award at Pakuranga.
