Iona University Athletics

Emily Hansen is in her first year as a student assistant coach for the Iona College women’s soccer program.  Hansen continues her Maroon & Gold legacy having served as a staple within the Gael defense during four successful seasons as a student-athlete. 

She recorded over 5000 minutes on the pitch in 70 career games.  Hansen scored four career goals, three of which came in her senior season while serving as the team’s captain.  Her shot on goal percentage ended at .475 with 19 shots on goal.  Hansen had six career helpers, three of which came in her junior season.  She was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team as a freshman.

Hansen was a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree.
