Iona University Athletics

Brother Robert Novak, C.F.C, Ph.D, has been the faculty moderator of the Iona rowing teams since 1980. As faculty moderator, he has been involved with alumni and has served as president of the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Rowing Association since '83. Novak received a B.S. in Physics from Iona in 1972, an M.S. in Physics from Stevens Tech in 1977 and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1980. He assumed the role of Physics Chairperson at Iona in June 2002.
