Iona University Athletics

Sara Peña joined the Iona College Student-Athlete Services staff as an Athletic Academic Advisor in February of 2020. She spent the summer of 2019 as an Athletics Academic Advising and Compliance intern with Iona. Prior to officially joining Iona's staff full time, Peña was a Graduate Assistant for Compliance and Game Management at McKendree University.

Peña received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Mansfield University in 2018. She then received an MBA from McKendree University in 2020. While at Mansfield, Peña was a student-athlete on the women's soccer team.
