Caryn Sibiskie enters her second season as assistant coach in 2024. Sibiskie came to New Rochelle from the University of New Haven where she spent the previous two seasons.

In her first season with the Gaels, the program won 15 games and advanced to the MAAC Championship semifinal following a five-set upset of Marist in the opening round. She coached All-MAAC first team performer Hope Matschner, second teamer Mackenzie Wiggins and all-rookie Ezzie Thompson during the 2023 campaign. Matschner was tabbed the MAAC's Libero of the Year while Wiggins also earned All-Tournament Team honors.

At New Haven, Sibiskie served as a graduate assistant for the Division II program during the 2021 and 2022 campaigns, helping to lead the Chargers to 38 wins and a .633 winning percentage. New Haven posted a 22-10 record in her first season, earning a Northeast 10 conference championship game appearance while taking eventual Division II Elite 8 participant American International to five sets. The Chargers earned a berth into the NCAA East Regional Championship for their performance during the 2021 campaign. Sibiskie served as interim head coach for two months following the departure of head coach Christa Cooper for a position at Division I Dayton.

Sibiskie's first collegiate coaching experience began in 2019 where she spent two seasons as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's volleyball programs at Thiel College, a Division III institution in Greenville, PA. In her second year at Thiel, she also served as Title IX Advisor for the athletics department.

A Rockfall, Connecticut native, Sibiskie was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Division III Eastern Connecticut State University where she recorded 305 kills, 134 digs, 125 blocks and 50 service aces in 97 matches played as a middle hitter. In a medical red shirt campaign in Sibiskie also held a student managerial role where she gained experience in recruiting, as well as planning practices.

Sibiskie's club coaching experience in Connecticut began after her sophomore season at ECSU in 2015 where she worked with Elevation Volleyball Academy in Wallingford and NOVA Volleyball Club in Trumbull.

Sibiskie earned a bachelor's degree in English in 2018 and a master's degree in Elementary Education in 2019 from Eastern Connecticut State and a second master's degree in Sport Management in 2022 from New Haven.
