Jeanine Radice joins the Iona University women's basketball staff as Associate Head Coach for the 2026-27 season, bringing more than three decades of Division I coaching experience and a proven track record of championship success.
Radice arrives in New Rochelle after seven seasons at the University of Richmond, including the final two as associate head coach. During her tenure, the Spiders compiled 150 wins and established themselves among the nation's top mid-major programs. Richmond earned postseason appearances in five of her seven seasons, including three consecutive NCAA Tournament bids from 2024-26. The Spiders also advanced to the second round of the WNIT in 2023.
The most successful stretch in program history came during Radice's final three seasons on staff. Richmond won back-to-back outright Atlantic 10 regular season championships in 2024 and 2025, captured the 2024 Atlantic 10 Tournament title and recorded the program's first NCAA Tournament victory in 2025. The Spiders posted an 83-21 overall record and a 48-6 mark in conference play from 2023-26, highlighted by a 29-win campaign in 2023-24 and a 28-win season in 2024-25. Following the 2024-25 campaign, Radice was named the World Exposure Report Mid-Major Assistant Coach of the Year.
Prior to Richmond, Radice spent two seasons at Bucknell, helping the Bison compile 50 victories, capture the 2019 Patriot League Tournament championship and earn an NCAA Tournament appearance following a school-record 28-win season.
Before Bucknell, Radice served 21 seasons at Delaware, where she helped guide the Blue Hens to 408 wins, four NCAA Tournament appearances and seven WNIT berths. Delaware posted a combined 63-6 record during the 2011-13 seasons and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2013.
Radice began her collegiate coaching career with stops at Seton Hall and Marist, helping the Pirates reach the NCAA Tournament in both 1994 and 1995.
A native of Staten Island, NY, Radice graduated from Fordham University in 1989 following an outstanding playing career. A three-time First Team All-MAAC selection and the 1989 MAAC Player of the Year, she remains one of the most decorated players in program history. Radice ranks second all-time at Fordham in scoring with 2,417 career points and field goal percentage (.475), while holding the school record for career scoring average at 21.8 points per game. She was inducted into the Fordham Athletics Hall of Fame in 1995.
