Pat Buckley enters his third season at Iona University and first as director of operations He spent his first two seasons on staff as a graduate manager.
At Iona, Buckley has been instrumental behind the scenes for the program over the past two seasons in his role as graduate manager. He supported all facets of day-to-day operations. with wide-ranging responsibilities including assisting with practice planning, travel logistics, team meals, scouting, game and practice film editing, game planning, equipment coordination, player scheduling, and overseeing team technology and analytics workflows.
Buckley came to New Rochelle following four seasons as a student-athlete at Catholic University in Washington, DC.
Buckley appeared in 44 games at Catholic making six starts. He scored 66 points, grabbed 68 rebounds, dished out 18 assists and recorded 16 steals and 14 blocks during his tenure. Buckley earned NABC Honors Court and Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll honors and was a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Lambda Epsilon Omicron honor societies.
Buckley played high school basketball for Bishop Kenny in Jacksonville, Florida.
He earned his degree from Catholic in Business Management and Sales.
